Who we are
Two names on the work. Both in the room.
Matjila & Phiri is a small software practice. We build websites, apps, and internal tools for teams that are tired of guessing what they bought.
Bridget does the thinking up front. She writes down what will be built, how long it should take, and what it costs. Shaun takes that plan and turns it into working software. You meet both of us early, and you keep both of us until the work is live.
We started in 2024 because too many projects were sold by one person and finished by another. That gap is where deadlines slip and features appear that nobody asked for. We closed the gap by refusing to hand your project sideways. Ready to talk? Contact us.

Shaun Matjila
Build & delivery
Full-stack web developer
Shaun is a full-stack web developer with a Diploma in Business Information Technology and Microsoft Azure certifications across administration, development, architecture, and DevOps. He builds the product end to end: front end, back end, hosting, and go-live. He brings a distinctive feel to what he builds, careful about how it looks, how it moves, and how it holds up once real people use it.

Business analyst & document specialist
Bridget leads discovery and turns loose ideas into a clear written plan. With a BSc in IT and Information Systems, plus Document Specialist and Business Analyst experience, she keeps scope, timing, and cost honest before build starts. Goal-driven and strong-minded, she brings prayer, positive energy, and a sky-is-the-limit approach to every project.

Learning
Laying the groundwork
We registered Matjila & Phiri and built how we operate. This site, a clear split between Shaun and Bridget, written quoting, and a firm view of what we take on. We wanted the basics solid before we took on more volume.

Improvement
Raising the bar
We refined every part of that setup. Sharper quotes, a stronger site, better scoping habits, and clearer agreement on what we commit to. We are in a better position to deliver than we were twelve months ago.
